50 cent has decided to sue Taco Bell because he thinks they stole his identity for an advertising campaign. This campaign has ads where a voice tells him to change his name to 79 cent, 89 cent and 99 cent. It seems that the guys that made these ads haven’t asked the star and he never agreed to have his name in the ads. 50 Cent si now asking for $4 million in damages for the 79 cent menu spoof. The lawsuit says that Taco Bell made him the star of this advertising campaign that appeared nationwide and used his name, person and trademark to promote their business and products.
Taco Bell composed a funny formal letter that tells 50 cent to change his name to the price of one of it’s food items. Apparently they thought that 50 cent would be really pleased if they use his name but the rapper but they haven’t thought they need to consult him before sending the commercial to the media. This caused a lot of damages to 50 cent’s fame because a lot of customers thought he agreed to promote Taco Bell’s products. There were a lot of gossip internet blogs that castigated 50 cent for selling out and even thought the situation is getting pretty serious Taco Bell won’t take it too seriously. Would you like to listen top ringtones with 50 cent singing “Yo quero taco bell?”. i bet you don’t and i think they should give him $4 million as soon as possible because everyone thought he started to represent tacos and burritos.
